Welcome to JunkComputer (owned and operated by SBC Recycle). If you continue to browse and use this website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern JunkComputer relationship with you in relation to this website.

The term “JunkComputer” or “us” or “we” refers to the owner of the website. The term “you” refers to the user or viewer of our website.

Liability Waiver

JunkComputer are not responsible or in anyway laible for damage caused by extracting recycled items (appliances) from your home. We are extremely careful and use special equipment when removing appliances. We have never damaged a client’s property and under normal conditions this will not be an issue at all. However, problematic situations might present itself if the space is limited and it’s a tight fit getting the appliance out.
Please make sure that you’re present when you want us to remove an item from inside your home. It is always better to leave items outside for quick and safe pick-up.

Agreement to Pay

If you request a recycling pickup and we are not able to pickup your items for recycling for reasons out of our control (see next paragraph) you will still be charged a minimum of $25.00 to cover our driving expenses.

Possible reasons out of our control why your pickup could not be completed:

1 – Nobody is home as indicated on the pickup form when you scheduled your recycling pickup

2 – Your company is closed during regular business hours

3 – You canceled your recycling pickup after we dispatch the truck (we need 24 hour notice)

4 – Items are removed by a pirate recyclers (unlicensed recyclers that score the neighborhoods for items left outside)

5 – Any other reason out of our control

Cancellations

All cancellations must be in writing. To cancel simply reply to the automated email you received at after scheduling your pickup online. If you wish you may follow up with a phone call. We will reply back in writing that the pickup has been canceled. All cancellations must be at least 24 hours ahead of time.

Computers

Please make sure that all data are removed from hard drives. We do charge extra for on site data destruction.

Refrigeration

All freezers, fridges and refrigerators must be empty. We do not accept spoiled food such as rotten meet etc.

Mattresses

All mattresses must be dry at the time of the pickup. If the mattress is left out in the rain we may refuse to pickup the mattress

Gasoline Powered Engines

All gasoline must be drained from gas powered equipment such as lawnmowers. If we need to drain the gasoline out of the equipment a special fee may apply, see the sales page for the particular equipment/appliance. Engine Oil does not have to be drained.

Propane Tanks

All propane tanks needs to be empty at the time of pickup. A special handling fee may apply for Non empty tanks, see the particular page for details.
